“Eat food, Not a Lot, Mostly Plants”
Going plant-based does not mean giving up meat, but rather changing our mindset on the topic. Meat is more of a garnish in countries who typically follow the Mediterranean diet. Did you know that exceeding your protein needs in a meal (30-40 grams) can get broken down into sugar, increasing the risk of weight gain.

Food Tip: Start with a Meatless Monday once per week and then see if you can incorporate more meatless meals from there.
Fit Tip: Aside from passive stretching, consider other tools for your muscular recovery. Foam rolling, adequate sleep, hydration, massage, cold therapy, and an anti-inflammatory diet are ways to aid in your muscular recovery.
