Beverages & Ways to Reduce Sugar

Over the next two weeks we will be covering the overarching topic of carbohydrates and hydration! Water is one of the key elements responsible for human life on earth and is vital for our survival. One of the functions of water is to quite literally break a part fat (lipolysis) to be be removed from the body. We will also be discussing those sneaky sources of sugar and how to mindfully include sugar in our diet.


Food Tip: A great visual is that 4 grams of sugar is equivalent to 1 teaspoon of sugar.


Fit Tip: Decrease sedentary activities by replacing time sitting with activities like cooking, going for a walk with family, completing housework, or pacing on the telephone.
